Better data on every resident’shealth
A research-grade wearable that surfaces the changes in health that can lead to hospital stays, so your team can act sooner and residents stay independent longer.
One wearable.
Three advocates.
All powered by this
- 30-day batteryOne charge a month, worn around the clock
- Heart rate and HRVMulti-path PPG, beat to beat
- Single-lead ECGRhythm checks with saved strips
- Blood oxygenIR and red wavelengths, overnight
- Respiratory rateDerived from the PPG waveform
- Skin and room temperature2 sensors, ±0.1 °C
- Gait and stabilityWalking speed, stride evenness
- Sleep stagingMotion, heart rate and temperature
- Activity and stepsClassified movement, not raw counts
- Water resistantTo 50m, so it stays on in the shower
Clarity is built on the Sensor Bio platform, with more than 10 years of validated physiological sensing used in research and clinical programs. Learn more about the platform at sensorbio.com.
A research-grade wearable and monitoring system built for residents and their families. Offered by communities like yours.
Continuous heart, breathing, temperature and movement sensing on a device that runs 30 days between charges. Your nurses get a console. Families get a calm view.
Wear compliance doesn’t have to be perfect.
Most monitoring programs die the same way. The device comes off and never goes back on. Clarity removes most of the reasons that happens: a 30-day battery, so there is no nightly charging ritual. No complicated touch screen to learn. Water resistant to 50m, so it stays on in the shower.
And when a resident does leave it on the nightstand for an afternoon, the program still works. Baselines are built over time, not from perfect continuous usage. More wear makes it sharper. Wear compliance doesn’t have to be perfect for your team to get insights.
What it does for your community.
The wearable built for senior living, not for step counts.
How Clarity differs from the other tools senior living communities already consider.
Built for your care team, not for a personal phone.
Consumer wearables are designed for one person looking at their own app. Clarity is designed for a community managing many residents. Your team sees every resident’s trends in one dashboard, is flagged when someone stops wearing their device, and never has to set up a personal smartphone account for a resident.
Learn more →Know how residents are doing, not just what.
Routine-tracking wearables are built around behavior: meals, bathroom trips, walks, sleep. Clarity is built around the body. It reads heart rate, heart rate variability (how the time between heartbeats shifts), breathing and sleep, beat by beat, around the clock. Routines can change after the body already has, so your care team gets an earlier warning, and the data belongs to you.
Clarity does not include fall detection, a call button or location tracking today. *Pending FDA clearance.
Learn more →Care that leaves the room with the resident.
Room sensors watch a room. Clarity stays with the resident: in the dining hall, on a walk, at an activity or visiting family. It measures what a wall sensor can’t reliably see, like heart rhythm trends, heart rate variability and overnight recovery, to help your team spot decline earlier.
Learn more →Better predictions start with better data.
Software that predicts risk from charting and staff notes can only see what someone wrote down. Clarity creates a continuous, first-party stream of resident health data, around the clock, without adding a task to your staff’s day.
Learn more →The honest answers.
Apart from the cost, consumer smartwatches are built for one person and one phone. Clarity is built for a care team managing a whole community, with adherence tracking, a shared dashboard and data your organization owns and can connect to your systems.
Keep it for safety and routine alerts; Clarity adds the layer underneath, so your team can spot changes in heart, breathing and sleep sooner, with data you own.
Fall detection tells you a fall happened. Clarity sees the declining mobility, dizzy spells, stumbles, breathing issues and sleep changes that can come before one, and it goes with residents everywhere in your community. The two work well together.
No. Clarity runs alongside the nurse call, pendants or in-room sensors you already have. There is nothing to wire and nothing to mount.
Residents have their own reasons to. They get a personal view of their sleep, heart and activity, and their spouse and family can see how they are doing. Clarity looks and feels like a modern wearable, not a call button on the wrist, and bands come in different materials and styles so each resident can pick what feels right. It can be charged through its side port while the resident wears it. It also does not have to be worn perfectly. Clarity tracks trends over days and weeks, so a missed afternoon doesn’t erase the picture, and the dashboard shows who isn’t wearing it so staff can follow up the same day.
The battery lasts about 30 days on a charge. It charges without taking the device off the wrist, and it is water resistant, so residents can wear it in the shower and in the pool. Most residents never need to take it off at all.
Yes. AI is one of a few ways we detect very nuanced shifts in a resident’s biometrics and health, to find things a person might otherwise miss. Our models are never trained on resident data, and all data use stays compliant with the highest privacy standards.
Our next-generation device is going through FDA clearance and SOC 2 certification now. Today’s device is offered as a wellness product and has been validated against ECG for resting heart rate in independent research.
Clarity is designed to support Medicaid remote patient monitoring once its FDA clearance is complete, with billing running through your residents’ physician practice, not your community. We are also working to expand to private insurance coverage. In the meantime, it can be offered to residents as a value-add and a better standard of care. We are working through the details now and will walk you through them during your pilot.
You do. Your community can export raw and processed data and connect it to the tools you choose.
Nothing. We provide the devices, the monitoring software and the onboarding, and there is no extensive implementation or rollout work on your side.
See it on your floor.
Pilot communities pay nothing and there is no integration work on your side. We provide the devices, the monitoring software and the onboarding, and your team keeps working the way it already works.
What it costs after a pilot depends on how much of the monitoring turns out to be reimbursable, and we are working that out now. We would rather tell you that than quote you a number we cannot hold.
Resident data moves through a HIPAA-compliant platform. The family view is an optional module each facility chooses to enable.
